Andy and Vicky Butler - Wedding Reception Wokingham Hi Ken, Les and Lindsay, Sorry we haven't been in touch sooner, we have been suffering with the holiday blues a bit since getting back from our honeymoon in Sri Lanka too be honest plus inundated with work which isn't great.......back to reality I guess! Anyway, Vicky and I would both like to thank all 3 of you so much for playing at our wedding reception at the Two Poplars on Saturday 3rd October, we had an absolutely brilliant day and your performance in the evening just topped it all off for us! All we've had is one comment after another from every one that was there on the night about how great you were, where did we find you and where were you from etc etc so hopefully we've done a decent follow up sales pitch for you and you manage to get some more gigs out of it! We hope you enjoyed playing for us as much as we enjoyed listening to you. I don't know where the whole day and night disappeared to, it all went by so quickly but I particularly enjoyed the evening and dancing the night away as it was about the only time I got to spend with Vicky!! A big thank you for our first dance too, 'I'll Always be right there', not one of Bryan's better known songs and I think the 5 of us were pretty much the only ones there that new it.....I don't know some people have no taste! it was played a sung beautifully and Vicky and I will always remember that moment, thank you! You were all amazing and the feedback was absolutely brilliant. So many people came up to me and asked about the group – I directed them to your cards on the tables, I hope you get some gigs out of it, you deserve it. Not only should I be thanking you for the music, but also for all the help you gave us before the event with the tickets and of course on the night, tossing the coin and doing the auction. We raised over £1,200 for the school and you were a big factor in getting this sum, so thank you. We had a wonderful day at our wedding on 2nd December and your band were fantastic! On more than one occasion, I looked up expecting you to be on a break as I thought a CD was playing - and it was the band! Absolutely superb. Our guests all thoroughly enjoyed the set and my only regret was not being able to dance for long enough! I was also thrilled with our first dance which sounded better than the original!
